G-Sync low FPS Fix (Unity engine)
This is for those who are running G-Sync and who are experiencing low FPS.

It seems the Unity engine has a bug and it believes the lowest reported rate reported by G-Sync, is your refresh rate. It'll then lock in your FPS to that rate!

The fix is to use Nvidia Profile Inspector, goto the 7D2D profile and change
GSYNC - Application State, to Fixed Refresh Rate.

This seems to trick Unity and G-Sync appears to still be working on the monitor :)

Never use G-sync. Learn to adjust your settings manually, G-Sync sucks for anyone that knows how to operate a PC effectively. The only games I bother using it on are ones where G-sync just wants to max all settings, aka run at "Ultra".

You'll get better results adjusting settings manually without fail otherwise, provided you are fit to make the "master race" claim that comes with being a PC user. Otherwise if you need training wheels still, stick to console. Where you are better off.

Yes why I explained what manual setting you need for G-Sync to work correctly.

It seems you're still on your troll training wheels. G-Sync helps with low FPS and that's what you get during horde nights. Your suggestion that it's useless is ludicrous and you don't provide any insight into the problem at all.
You'd definantly be better off there, it's full of toxic persons like yourself, who just troll and who have no technical knowledge at all.
Did you find the fix? No. Why not? I thought you where PCMR! Now bugger off troll..

The ♥♥♥♥ are you smoking man? I do not troll.

My suggestion is do not post useless crap for noobs that cannot operate their PC's on the bug forum. :steamfacepalm:

Bad advice is bad advice. No troll just truth.

Not to mention that the main reason you get crap FPS on horde nights has almost nothing to do with the GPU at all. It's all the block calculations, and 3D textures loading that are eating up all your RAM.
The minotaur has become the troll.
Thank you Minotaur for this informative post! It was slowing working its way down to 22 FPS for me lol.

It sounds like YamaKami is confusing GS with GeForce "experience" that configures the game settings for you.

Did you try using the Frame Rate Limiter? I set it to my ideal for this monitor of 162 FPS (2k @ 165Hz ViewSonic XG2703-GS) and the game ran around 90-110 FPS on my overclocked GTX 1080.

I set it to 60 FPS limit and noticed close to flawless frame pacing but obviously this was blurry compared to a proper setup with GS on. It looks like this game has some stutter even on the best hardware available.

Lastly, I noticed when using mod manager it doesn't use the 7 days profile. Any idea how to do this? I'll search around and post back here if I find something.

Thanks!

Nah I an't confused. You got lucky if this post helped you at all. More than likely you had windows 10 issues if your FPS was recently effected. Some bad updates have been causing a whole host of problems.

G-sync is part of the Geforce experience too FYI, so you sound confused if anyone does.

If you want to lock it at 60fps though, just enable V-sync in the game options.

I can't help you with the mod manager as I do not mod my EA games (negates the ability to provide any feedback let alone constructive feedback) though I would suggest asking about this on the mod sub forum section. As opposed to here.

You were most definitely confused and spreading misinformation.
Gsync does not configure your graphics settings, it is a graphical setting. You were referring to Geforce Experience, the Nvidia software that sucks and does try to control your graphical settings.
Gsync, what is being referred to here, is a variable refresh rate technology that has issues with some individual game titles and engines.
Sorry to necro this thread but I needed to set that straight after seeing it.
