A21 vehicle mods/schematics drop rate is super low now?

So, I've been playing both single and multiplayer and deep into day 40 and still haven't found any other mods for the vehicles other than the headlights (not even the seating, the second most frequent in my experience), even though I've invested heavily into Grease Monkey.
I don't know if the drop rates have been horribly nerfed in A21 or what, but in previous games, at this stages I had pretty much all the mods for the 4x4 or the bike (the hardest to get as always the supercharger) but now since distances get longer as quest tiers progress and gas is harder to find (cars drop less gas when salvaging), it's a pain in this economy to drive without the fuel saver mod

Has anyone experienced this issue with very low drop rates of vehicle mods?

I've not noted this but I also spec'd into grease monkey so that might be effecting drop rates.

My Int build is on day 21ish and I have a kitted out motorcycle. I am skilling up to build the 4x4 but I already have most of the mod bps found. I'm missing the extra seat but meh I play solo so not really high on my list

I cant say iv had the same issue, Only thing i had a bit of trouble with was the vehicle magazines till i got the grease monkey perks, Hell my friend was even finding the plain mods in workbenches as well as the blueprints, I have found though you usually find the stuff in just about ONLY workbenches in high tier POIs or high lootstage, I almost never find it in car part boxes

The only things I'm getting in Pass-n-Gas boxes are wheels, oil shale, the occasional scrapping and haverst tools magazine, but lots of repair kits tho, can't complain. Im finding vehicle magazines in everywhere BUT those boxes... but as for mods, nowhere to be seen.

I'm struggling a lot to level up vehicle crafting, I recently got the motorbike on day 30 because of a dire lack of vehicle magazines (See above) even though I have 4 points in Grease Monkey. It's absurd. I only have 2 points in Master Chef and 2 points in Engineering and by day 25ish I already had cooking and workstations completed.

I hate to point this out. But Learn by Looting does not work if your only getting your books via POIs your doing for missions.

It only really works if you do the mind numbing task of book raiding. Spend a day running around town hitting every mail box and newpaper box. Bum rushing though POIs with high number of book cases. Its annoying and boring as you don't really care about XP or Loot your just rushing for the stuff that drops books.

I can only stomach doing this one day a week which is why I'm still working towards the 4x4

Do remember if you have a lot of the other things (Like the various gun or melee weapon or armor perks) they do also take away a bit from the chance to get other magazines, After experimenting a bit if i only take melee perks, i only ever find melee magazines, so try to go for things like your vehicle magazines and such first then work over to armor and weapons and such

I havnt ever had to do that and i play in a world with me and a friend, we dont really share magazines, its day 26, we have a good portion of the magazines maxxed out, we have motorcycles soon to be 4x4s, if its really THAT bad, just turn up the loot to double, then you get 2 magazines per 1 spawn, more or less halving the work
