Stone Layer
Just counted and dont know if this is usefull for anyone...
Stone layer is 52 blocks deep + 3 block of dirt on top as default.
I tried to buil up to se if there is a upper limit and I got to170 blocks from bottom stone layer, before i fell of and died ;)
That sounds pretty good...
I built my towers on top of a mountain, haven't fallen of and died yet tho... Am attempting a third tower next to them to see if it's proper design will let it go higher...
Remember to use powerpoles to support your structure.
Good Luck
One tower is 14 floors high, the other is equally high, but less floors as it is more direct...
I learned a lot tho, and the third tower I am going to try to build even taller... Maybe there is a sky box in game that can be reached or something so that no more blocks will attatch... Even torches won't click onto the top parts of my towers now... They have to go directly on top..
