What are your strategy for the 7° day?
I like to make my house and base at big places, and I day by day keep improving and cleaning to be perfect base, but on 7° day zombies simple break all sides, traps, and all stuff, at some point I realized I could hide in big places on top without fighting them, and my base would be intact, and then I would survive easily, and the next day I could go on top trader missions without having to farm and repair everything like weapons, making bullets, ciment, steel, iron, and then keep even repairing farming broken by zombies, and while the night 7 it's happening I see tutorials and come here to exchange info with community.

I would like to know how do you pass the day 7?

I just make my fort. Nothing cheesy. Just a barrier I can repair and shoot at zombies, with my toilet pistol. I find it doesnt take too much. Done it with a pipe shotgun. As long as can move and got a barrier, are good. Just a small wall catwalk and take out zombies as they come on up at minimum.

I have a non meme fort design that I have. Simple but effective. Trick is the entry way is recessed back so I can shoot across the doorway. Take advantage of barbed wire. If get enough money, maybe even put up an electric fence to help.

Also.. moat. A moat will save your life. Don't have any screenshots atm of my current base. Here is a flyby screenshot of an older, late game base. You don't need some meme base on posts with a balance wire to stop zombies. Just bottlenecks to allow you to concentrate fire and some stuff delay them. Early stage base is good with a simple wall and defensive barrier with a moat.

There is more design stuff in that base, but don't want to spoil the surprise.

Edit: To help understand what you can see, I have an outer wall with barriers at the entry way to slow them down getting in. Then the barbed wire followed by two layers of moat. Is an upper platform where turrets are, then the lower primary shooting level and repairing doors if needed.

The far side is a bit of roleplay. Is drawbridges so I can drive into the base. Tower in center is also just decorative.

my plan is normally forget about horde night and panic the moment they start a knocking.

Electric fence. Spining blades. Shotgun and smg turents. And tons of ammo for your main gun.

My strategy is sitting on a roof for 15 mins while I try and do house work. Lol

Otherwise, I usually just make a small opening on ground level (on whatever building I choose to occupy) and toss grenades and pipe bombs out the small window and watch zombie limbs go flying.

Zombies can crawl through one block space now so I have to put a small pole at the top of the opening that makes the enclosure smaller than one block space, and the zombies can't crawl in.

i just make simple yet effective horde base that has some escape routes and vehicles waiting if needed.

Then decorated house that has steel walls but painted :steamhappy:

I have being in a correction place, and I was in a tower killing 9999 zombies for a trader mission, and the tower had a ladder to the top, and I could kill 9999999 zombies there, I think I will try this strategy instead breaking ladders to the roof of a strong base
