Could not connect to server: ConnectionFailed" 10.4 b10
hello all we are playing on my server with friend over 35 hours .. with no problems .. until now..
so he tried overite memory of game on steam and next find me on servers in game (before thru steam) so we have now this problem .. what we can do ?

I don't agree with yelling and getting pissed about something that happens in an alpha version of a game. I play 7 Days with my wife, and she is unable to connect to our game we put a lot of time in. I've tried all the aforementioned tips to get her back in with me.

I've supported alot of pre-release games because I love games and want to help developers in any way I can, I do however have to agree with the people who are frustrated that there has been no official response to this situation. Alpha version or not, I am a customer and while I expect issues to occur, some kind of response to an issue many people are dealing with is only good busines etiquette and proper courtesy on their end.

A lack of customer service regardless of the version / build of the game only hurts them and their reputation. Word of mouth is huge to any small to mid-sized companies hoping to expand their product. And even in most cases more important that they go above and beyond with their supporters than larger businesses typically would.

I really enjoy the game and wish nothing more than their success. With the flood of survival/ crafting games hitting the market, they'll need all the support they can get.

If none is forthcoming, then they either don't have an answer yet, or are working on getting one. When you deal with another 3rd party company, often you have to wait on them to give you information before you can give that out yourself. That's what TFP is probably subject to currently.

I'm not privy to any of the information about why MP is difficult to connect with right now, or I might be able to help. It seems to have changed very recently, which means the EAC code changed (since the 7DTD code has not for a while). TFP isn't in control of any EAC code.

There is the slim off-chance that Steam somehow changed their code and affected the game. They tend to do that and not tell anyone until it becomes a real problem.

Or they could simply say - 'We are aware of a problem and are doing our best to find a solution'. I've dealt with national and international corporations during my career and most often it is best to give some kind of response rather than none at all.

You're preaching to the choir there my friend. I too wish they had a greater official presence out here on their primary sales and MP outlet.
Guys PLEASE TRY THIS, it worked for me for my own multiplayer private game (without a password).

Set port to "50" and "Enable NAT Punchthrough"

My friends were able to join and play without any problems!!
While yes, there's no guarantee, it's pretty low to not even acknowlage a problem like this. Still no word, no we're working on it, no answer to my ticket and no support replies.
well the problem stopped randomly for me...didn't do anything special just kept trying until it worked xD
yeah as of right now, mine is working too :)
I was able to make it work again, we both switched to version 10.3. Been working smoothly ever since!

We tried with port set to 50, didnt work, changed port back to 26900 and it erh, worked!! Gremlins or some other form of nonsence I believe
as of yesterday. haven't changed anything and it was still working
I guess they fixed the issue. It was working fine as of yesterday ~11 hours ago.
