Starting a new map on a dedicated server?

Hey everyone, I'm the new owner of a dedicated server through BlueFang (for about two weeks now) and would like to know if there's anything in the files I can just delete to make a new map? My girlfriend and I have explored pretty much everything there is within range of our base, and with the recent supply crate bugs ruining our food supplies we would like to make a new map.

As I said, we've explored all we want to and would like to start a new map, not only to explore more, but also to fix the bugs that are present in our game. Do you have any useful comments?

So whats the difference between setting up a base somewhere else and exploring and restarting a map and doing the exact same thing?

just change the seed in serverconfig file and you have a new map ;)

On your server page just reinstall or retstartt your server with the "full wipe" option selected. Also don't be an ahole when asking the community for help with very basic procedures

Can you explain to me how I was being an "a hole?" He was the one that wouldn't stop bothering, on top of not helping. I despise people who insist on saying "Your way of playing the game is stupid, play it this way instead of the way you want to play it."

but that commenter didn't say that, and you didn't actually give enough details in your original post either.

i would have answered you can't change the map because it seemed like you wanted a new world with the same characters.

if you wanted a total wipe you should have asked for one.

Is this possible for downloaded dedicated servers (if so, can you explain where it is to a dumb, blind novice) or is it just for rented servers?
