Blueberry and Potato Hop Scotch?
Anyone have a case where you plant and then plant the next one over and its fine and then you plant the third one and it erases number 2 and then when you place number 4 it erases 3? Its irritating as hell since I just wasted 2 dozen of my potato seeds since I just found some

Make sure you are tilling the soil with the tiles, you can till it diagonally and it acts funny when you plant. Keep in mind that you need space between rows. X=crop O=dirt

And so on... If you try to fill the entire area, it uproots the plants. You may notice the farming hoe tills dirt into little mounds. You basically only plant on the mounds (last I checked cotton at least grows anywhere).

Again though, be SURE that you aren't tilling diagonally. Use other blocks to check and determine that. And be sure plants are planted along the tilled earth with no others adjacent to it.
The textures are terrible and I can't tell if I have tilled it or not but I set it up like x=crop w=water

Water is not needed anymore. It is possible that the water is what is messing it up. Once you till just regular soil without water, the textures are much more easily noticed.

Here's an example to base it off:

It does seem odd that water isn't required to irrigate the farms, but with the way the terrain works/looks with elevation changes, it looks much better without water in sight.

My hopes are that whenever weather gets added, rain would moisten the soil for a few days or you'd need some sort of tool (not the bucket as that'd be for placing water) for irrigating the land. One irrigation would last the full growth period of 3 days for most crops. If the land is dry, the crops will stop growth until wet.
