How to craft biofuel ?
I have looted a chainsaw in a tool store. But it runs out of fuel. I find that gas can can be used to recharge it . But I need biofuel to craft gas cans. So the question is how to craft biofuel ?

make tallow from animal fat with a campfire and cooking pot - then use a beaker and tallow on a campfire to make biofuel. This needs to be mixed with grain alcohol to make a gas can.

Remember that you need much more grain alcohol which takes much longer to make, 3 bio fuel & 6 grain alcohol for 1 gas can! For the alc you need corn meal (from corn) and water in a beaker.

corn meal + water + beaker = grain alcohol ? I think it was corn instead before. Thank you very much !

you have to craft the corn to corn-meal before you can use it for grain alcohol, which is pretty anoying...

Remember to pick up all those oil barrels you see at the Pass'n Gas and in some barns. A barrel of oil crafts into 6 jugs of gasoline!

Yep. You CAN make it yourself, but it's almost easier to scavenge it!

I have never, ever made fuel. On all the random maps I've played, I've food plenty of oil barrels. On Navesgane map I've found gas jugs when I looted some of the cars. Sometimes there are oil barrels in the barn also.

well tools can use up gas quite fast - depending on your use few cans can last several days or mere minutes - its all depending on how much do you depend on power tools
