Command console keeps poping up by itself

Latest update (not sure if it was 10.3 or the hotfix) introduced this. Not sure if there are specific events that happen to pop up the command console, but it's often problematic (to say the least). It poped up twice as a plane flew overhead and at least once with a zombie very close. And no... I am not trying to press the '1' hotkey (although I did that once or twice when I first started out and it confused the hell out of me...lol). I will monitor this behavior and report back.

yeah i have same thing, command consule keeps popping up over and over. Also guarenteed to happen when a plane flies by.

ha ha im gld i seen this one as it happends to me how ever i thought it was my battorys in my key pad doing it as it dose that sort of thing when they get low but thats cool thanks for posting this one

There seems to be a missing reference in the air drops (probably something removed from the code but a call got missed somewhere) that causes the console pop up. It doesn't happen with all of them so I'm not sure exactly where the reference is missing - it's not in the xml files that I can find, so it's likely in the "hard code" somewhere.

It's not anything vital since it doesn't cause a crash (which is good) but it does get annoying nonetheless.

I just updated after not playing for a couple months and yes it's popping up all the time.

It's caused a crash (game freezes completely) for me several times, and happens at random intervals, not just but including airdrops

happened a few times for me and the game crashed and was corrupted. Had to start a new game - again!

Happens for me every time the plane appears. So much so that I hover my finger over the escape key as it approaches. It is also happening when I get within sight of the crate that dropped. If the console comes up, then I know I'm close. HOWEVER, when the crate drops in the city... it usually means death, because I stop runing for too long and a zombie hits and stuns or a dog catches me. Very bad bug.

It's happened to me a few times for the plane too; tells me the coordinates of the drop. Haven't had it crash yet though.

seems to be when upgrading cobble frames and supply crate drops trigger it for me

I also get this, at random occurences, usually when I'm not touching my keyboard at all.

I agree, it seems this is something TFP will address in the next update? hopefully

For me it happens when a plane is flying around. Annoying, but easily resolved.

Me and my friend keep having this happen even when there are no planes overhead. I had it happen repeatedly when using the ak and my friend had it happen three times within a half an hour. Two of those times he had zombies almost in his range when the console command popped up and wouldn't disappear until he was at less than twenty health (resulting in him being stunned and unable to escape his inevitable death.) I truly hope that this issue is addressed because this error is making a good run through rather challenging to achieve.

If it pops up with yellow or red console lines then it's experiencing bugs.
Off to the verify/reinstall you go. :(
