Sharp stone into sharp rocks

Hello, fellow survivors.

I had an ideia recently and would like to know what u guys think.

Since we use 1 sharp stone to make 1 stone axe, we can see that the sharp stone isn't very small. Strangely, we use the same 1 sharp stone to make 1 crossbow bolt. Well, we cleary have some misuse of the size of the item, since the same size item can be used to make 2 different sized itens.
Taking that in account I though that would be nice if we could break the sharp stone into smaller sized rocks and use that rocks to make itens like: crossbow bolt, arrow, spiked hammer, spiked club, spike gloves, spike armor and so on.

That's other good idea...but the ones made of stone is more like for early game...first days and stuff...

The crossbow itself needs to be removed/changed as is. You go make a crossbow from sticks and grass. It should at least require a book. They need to get the bow working first, but then arrows and such should take its place. Should have high scatter to be only useful as short-medium range. Low damage too. Should also be modern crossbow/bow lootable out there. Would simply be more accurate with farther range and higher damage.

how come an stone axe half broken uses 5 stones to fix it????

I agree that the crossbow should require a book. It's stupid overpowered considering how easy it is to make. I don't think it should be nerfed at all, but if the forge needs a book, then so does the crossbow.
