Steel Hatches?
Why aren't there steel or metal hatches!? Wood is so weak even after upgrading.

We need them in the next update

Actually i'm kinda wondering myself why the devs never thought to add metal trap doors along with wooden ones.

all in due time... every object needs to be created, designed or re-skinned
In this case this would be an instance of the wooden hatch, but with a different skin and different "strenght". "Creating" teh object is easy enough, but it has to "look good" and making it look good can take more time as you think, the devil is in the details.
