Upgrading door stages?

I know the first two, Planks and scrap iron but which materials do you need to further upgrade doors? thanks

I don't think there is. The next step up is doors made of metal. (hard metal door or something like that)

wooden door -> planks ->scrap metal
wooden hatch -> same as above

hard metal door -> forged iron

for now thats all i think.

btw fyi:

wooden frame-> planks->planks->scrap iron

rebar frame -> planks -> concrete mix

scrap iron frame -> scrap iron -> scrap iron

this system will probably be extended in future updates

I remember scrap metal doors in previous version.
Now I can't find them in the crafting menu.

What did happen to them?
Are they in vacation or did I miss their offical funeral?

for now they are out but they are reworking the building materials so dont panic yet

They took out tungsten doors as well.

Any of you have issues placing woodern doors ? I build up a fort but can't seem to place any door any where.

You need to place it on a block, and have atleast one solid block on each side. (for example, non-upgraded wood frames won't do)

Madmole said he's working on cobblestone and brick about a day or so ago so they may make a reappearance a few patches in the near future.
