Report a translation problem
Most likely anti-virus is blocking silently the game from accessing internet. Could you test if any options in the AV would fix, for example for Bitdefender and COMODO you can find a work-around here: http://www.easyanticheat.net/support
We have also received some reports about Bullguard doing this, but are still investigating on it.
also tried a uninstalling and reinstalling all microsoft visual c++ things.
The fix: Update your windows until it installs service pack 1.

I'm afraid it may be something that you won't be able to work around and you'll just have to wait for them to push the patch out. *sigh* Hate being the bearer of bad news like that but...
