I can not connect while EAC is enabled.

so I know this problem is on my end. Just need some help finding the solution.
If i log in without EAC i can see all the servers in the server list. I cannot connect because EAC is turned off. I log out and log back on with EAC active and Server list will not populate.
I have made sure my firewall has allowed both the 7days exe and 7days eac exe to pass through. i have tried on a friends pc logged into my account and bingo it works.
What else can i do to try feeling very frustrated.

Hi,

Most likely anti-virus is blocking silently the game from accessing internet. Could you test if any options in the AV would fix, for example for Bitdefender and COMODO you can find a work-around here: http://www.easyanticheat.net/support

We have also received some reports about Bullguard doing this, but are still investigating on it.

I'm using Avast and nothing gets deleted or goes into its vault.. (also put all 7dtd and EAC folders in exceptions). Reinstalls and validations, but still, EAC crashes on startup.. :(

also tried a uninstalling and reinstalling all microsoft visual c++ things.

I completely uninstalled avast and reinstalled the game, didn't work. Easy AntiCheat launcher has stopped working error message.

I found this temporary fix for it. Launch the game without EAC enabled. Then manually type in the server ip adress and port. Hit connect and it lets you join EAC protected servers, well it works for me anyway :)

The fix: Update your windows until it installs service pack 1.

Update again. Maybe it's something just after sp1. I updated my windows twice (EAC still crashed after the first time) and other people said they had to update 4 times, but it is confirmed as the fix.

EAC has some problems right now - they're working on a patch but I don't have an ETA or even a full idea of what things they're fixing. A lot of people have been having problems with EAC in one way or another for a while - especially Mac users which I believe is what the biggest part of the patch is aimed at (I think) but I've seen a few other bugs posted here and there that EAC has said they're working on fixing (a memory reallocation issue - or more accurately, a memory allocation that's not releasing correctly because of a missed value present in EAC).

I'm afraid it may be something that you won't be able to work around and you'll just have to wait for them to push the patch out. *sigh* Hate being the bearer of bad news like that but...
