Day 8 on random map gen, time 17:44, no feral horde

I had no feral horde the entire day, only 3-4 normal hordes that walked right past me

i had 10 zombies max on my 7th day in the night going into 8th day morning =/

Random maps gen in my own experience doesnt seem to work as good as Nav premade map. And that includes everything. It also depends in what zone you built your base.

The zone was at the intersection of 3 rivers, 2 sides have a forest and 1 side (which seeps over into half of my base) is the burned biome

People have been saying that normal roaming hordes can kind of negate the feral hordes. That might be your issue.

Happening here too, first 7 day horde arrived during the morning, followed by another from the opposite direction. Both were smallish. Day 28 now, not seen a freal horde since.....

Since the re-introduction of wandering hordes, the 7th day horde spawning doesn't appear to be working as well. No idea if the two are related, but I suspect they are.
