How do u fill wood frames,or any frame?

Have wood planks in your inventory, equip a stone axe, claw hammer, or nailgun, and right-click the frame you want to upgrade.

oh wow lol, all this time I didnt know you couldt use nailgun, thought it was just a weapon.

The nailgun is primarily a tool first (extremely fast upgrades), and a weapon second. :)
