I suppose it could have simply been a glitch or my keyboard W got stuck somehow. Was just hoping with how big the world can seem that there would be a way to just auto-walk. Maybe it's time for a new keyboard although it's never gotten any keys to stick like that in the past.
Hmm, similar to the cartoon "The Simpsons" where Homer Simpson uses one of those bobbing birds to press a key on his keyboard every now and then to show that he's still working. LOL
I'll have to figure out if I can't set up some kind of macro on my keyboard or mouse that will force my character to just keep running.
Press down the W key (or any other key that you want to have on auto)
Then go in and out of the Steam overlay several times (alt+tab), still pressing down the key.
Now release the key while IN the overlay
then exit the overlay.
Now the game thinks the key never was released, and you got yourself autowalk.
PS: This autowalk works on most First person game on Steam.
