Any tips to find a piece of flatland in the forest? other questions too.
What would I look for on the map if i was trying to find a 15x15 ish piece of flatland to build a base on? preferable in the forest. I know I could just go to the plains and find this easy, but I like the forest biome. plan it to build a 15x15 single depth ditch, then every 2nd block did 2 down and plant some dynamate in a square, then blow it all up. planning to make a moat out of it

Also do zombies react to light? like if i had a miners helm and was sneaking would they react to the light if I had it turned on?

Pine forest or maple forest? Plenty of flatish land in maple forest of that size, just have to run around to find it. Use any kind of frame (wood, rebar, scrap) flatten out or raise up the little bumps/dips if it's not "perfectly" flat.

Pine forest...a little tricker. But near the river there's usually flatish areas, and you can always build ... in the middle of a road intersection.

Currently zombies do not react to electric light in any real sense. Doesn't build "heat", and they don't seem to notice you with or without it. I think technically it's supposed to help them "see" you better but I haven't noticed this effect much so don't know how it's supposed to work.

That's what I do. Asphalt is a strong base compared to dirt.

Ahh I forgot to mention I play on randommaps, its no fun using the navezgane map because you always know where everything is, there is no sense of exploration. I play on a randommap atm and I still don't know where the main city is, and i've explored a large area. my first airdrop had a fully made smg in it too, so now the entire game is kinda pointless.

They say the navezgane map is a campaign.story map, but when I played it, i've never seen any indications of this. I also wonder why in single player your the only human, shouldn't there at least be some human npcs around?

Not yet Scyris - NPCs and quests haven't been added yet.
