So the game is called 7 days to die, so what happens after 7 days? I know you can just respawn if you die (Especially at a base with a bed). Is there any increased events after x days?

At the 7 day mark, you will get bum rushed by a 'super horde' of Zeds. Better have your defenses up, stocked on food and ammo, and a way to escape should it go south (as it inevitably will).

I love this game...played it MANY hours...but I've always thought that the name is horrible.

"super hordes" are also feral and can detect you at much larger range.

Oh god, a super horde. That will be annoying. Only because you can hear the footsteps and sounds of any zombie within 100 yards.. Then you throw in the bashing sounds they do. They should make the zombies silent unless they are within a few feet. It would make it that much more terrifying, because you wouldn't know where they are.

Because currently as I said, you hear every zombie within a 100 yard radius or more as if there are right in front of your face. Quite annoying. It can be useful though when your zombie hunting.

But man, a super horde. I about ♥♥♥♥ myself running into a herd of them. Then when they occasionally walk by my base. Its one of those "Yeah I am just going to hide, not enough bullets for this ♥♥♥♥."

Its takes also 7 days when u r infected to turn u. But its not a big deal to find antibiotics (or to craft them http://7daystodie.gamepedia.com/Antibiotics to heal urself before the counter expires)

The game is called 7 days to die because once infected you need to take antiboitics inside of 7 days, or die from the infection on the 7th day.

I have been learning some good strategies against the super hordes. My first temp base was in one of the two story apartment buildings by the river that has a ladder to the roof. What I did was I took out the floor between the stairs and the ladder to the roof and then I always keep about 3 to 4 wood frames on me. Since you can place them down and pick them back up it makes it great for a carry with you bridge and then when you go to the other side you pick up the bridge. You just have to make sure that it is at least 3 squares away since the zombies can't jump it. The spider zombies of course can still climb but you only have to deal with a few of those. Also you still have to go down and repair the damage they do otherwise they will take down the whole blasted building because they are bash happy!

My base is a bunker near bedrock level - I haven't met a feral horde yet. Apparently the entrance is so far from my position, they never find it. If you start on day 1, they should appear on day 8 first, right?
