My items turned black......
Ok i was playn got a so so foot hold in a cabin its just turned day 3 and BAM anything i hold in my hand is black.....

My camp fire and forge are also black like it was painted lol anyone else have this issue or a fix maybe?

Did you try restarting the game, or Steam, or perhaps the PC? Sounds like a textures issue, which could be software or the memory on the vid card.

Also verify the game files, just for good measure. Go to the Steam Library -> right-click 7 Days To Die -> click properties -> Local Files tab -> click Verify Integrity of Game Cache.

If doing a PC reboot, I recommend a cold-boot. Shut it all the way off, then after ~5-10 seconds pull the power cord out to make sure it has no juice. Give it 30 seconds, then plug back in, and boot up.

Did all the hoop jumping and NOW only the iron shovel, stone axe, pick axe, any jar lid, fire axe, camp fire and forge are black of what i can make or found...
Before the Bow and boiled pork were also, any other things i could try?

The PC im on: AMD FX 4130 Quad Core, AMD Radeon HD 7700, 64bit, 16gig ram..... Video Card is up to date along with anything on this PC i could find lol

Are you also playing a totally new game created with Alpha 11? Old saves won't work, and objects will turn black.

Yes all new and its the Nav map not a random gen. dont have enough stuff to make new items just yet to see if its all or just the ones i have, will try and see.

ok not sure why this JUST started but while out looking for stones my items wee no longer black....
Once i went back into my house they went black, come to find out all the torches i have on the outside and inside of my house seems to mess up the shadows....

I took over one of the 2 story "cabbin" type houses, theres 2 torch per wall on hte outside 1st and 2nd floor and i took all the ones inside down and my stuff still goes black.

so im guessing some kinda lighting bug with the torches THANK YOU for the speedy reply!

In my current new Alpha 11 save I changed all settings to lowest except for fov, distance while in game. I was trying to figure out a comprimise for better framerate with no luck. I decided to just crank everything back up to max. Then I realized that 3 small trees in front of me turned completetly black. Tried reloading and restarting. still didnt change

Delete 7 day to die on your pc I mean everything then reinstall it work for me on all 4 pc i have

I'm on Windows and having the same problems, black objects everywhere and from time to time 3 fps although i'm running on the lowest video settings....I think it happens on more populated servers? i'm not sure
