Rocket launchers and rockets are VERY rare.
The ammo honestly is so rare you wouldnt really use them...maybe for Base Raids.
A few rockets arent going to bring down a house or anything...even a dozen wont.
They really are underpowered when you see them in use in real life. Anti-tank rockets are slightly different - a heavy penetrating payload that goes through the exterior armor to explode (minimally) inside the vehicle. Still no massive fireball of death.
Movies really have colored our perception of firearms.
Go watch some utubes.

Do you think thats the rocket? Or the explosives in the tank? One of those two carries alot more power in a highly condensed space.
Well, to be 100% fair, the video you posted was a FGM-148 Javelin, which is an advanced anti-tank rocket, with a guidance system that targets the weak spot of a tank (ie the top), it is an advanced weapon and specifically designed to destroy a tank pretty much outright.
Your standard rocket launcher is the RPG-7 (which is the most common used "rocket launcher" in the world). Below is a video of it being fired at a Toyota of some sort, and it is much less impressive. If you don't want to watch all of the talking and stuff, go to about 2:10 to see it.

Not gonna have much trouble breaking some old brick, or punching through a radiator.
Edi: I agree that hollywood dramatizes the size of the fireball (depends on the ammo used too), in many circumstance. I disagree that a rocket launcher isnt going to give a civilian suv a hole in the radiator. Or be unable to smash to bits a brick and mortar wall.
For sure, a crumbling brick building is going to have some serious damage done to it, and I guess I may have just put my point across wrong, I wasn't disagreeing that the in game launcher should pack a bit more punch, I was just saying it is probably more along the RPG-7 side of things, and less on the (much more impressive) Javelin side of things. I tried to find an old video I saw of a building being hit by an RPG-7, and couldn't, but while it didn't outright blow up a wall, there was a substantial amount of damage and a sizable hole, not sure what the building was made of though.
Hell, a well placed RPG-7 shot can most certainly disable (not outright destroy) a tank, and if you shot a civilian vehicle in the front of the engine, it would probably cause a crapton of badness for all inside, it is a powerful weapon, my only point was it isn't as explodey as the Javelin.
Moving on to the lame block damage, I belive rockets got a nerfing of sorts at some point so that they were not just griefer tools around the same time they were changing how TNT worked. Personaly I would like to see them blow up wooden and decayed bricks and suck easily enough but they should barley scath things like iron walls or reinforced concrete or even a scrap iron wall for that matter. Lots going on with this game and updates in short order though .So I can be patient with the much, much, muich, more minor tweaks like rocket explosions given how rare they are in the 1st place even it;s nearly a non issue entirely.
In that video they didnt use a exsposliv warhead, that was a anti armor missel!
big diffence, also the missel in the game is supposely a warhead, so it would be doing more block dmg!
One is used for armored vehicles or complexes, the other is used for building, infantry and so on
