Most likely because it wouldn't really fit the feel of the game to me.
So jumping up to a side of a roof, and pulling yourself up doesn't fit the game? Or climbing over a fence doesn't fit either?
I'd like to be able to crawl though. Crawl through a 1x1 block opening in a wall or cave etc.
sounds cool to me! i really want to climb a tree though :)
That sounds great. But if people want more crazy Dying Light style parkour.. well I don't know if I want that.
*shakes head*
Don't think for a game like this with the type of zombies we have that parkour really fits in. Not to mention Parkour <> climbing a fence.
That's what i was thinking as well.
Dying Light was quite good and i liked it well enough to finish it with all skills.
(even though the intense melodrama at key moments made the game very forgettable)
I'm reluctant to use the use the du jour term parkour to describe basic climbing and running that anyone interested in surviving would either learn or die.
I agree that that kind of ability in this game would make it too easy.
Just like in Dying Light, if you were about to get overwhelmed, you'd just pop up onto a roof top and stomp any zed that dared climb up to join you.
No thanks.
1. you are carrying so much stuff
2. too easy if zombies can't do so and probably won't
3. some basic climbinb is ok
4. A11 is meant for more important stuff
So, Parkour? no thanks
