Clear Player's Inventory Command
I had a tough time figuring out where this discussion should be placed.

I was wondering if a command such as to clear a players inventory will be implemented to the Console Command List for Admins?

I would enjoy having this function in a private or single player only for building purposes for the most part.
Thanks for taking the time to read and respond, it's greatly appreciated and I look forward to see this game grow and develop. I have been gaming for 22 years and change is good.

I can't think of a single reason for anyone ever to have a command like this. If it does exist, I sincerely hope nobody knows about it. The potential abuse is outrageous.

Two very good reasons.

1) When somebody kills another in PVE, takes their stuff, and won't give it back.
2) When moving your base and you just want to dump it all at the same time.

OP said 'clear' not 'dump'. I can understand dumping; emptying your pockets/storage but clearing inventory...not so much Maybe it's just semantics.

Anyone suggesting otherwise either has malicious intent
or isn't informed enough to be making suggestions. :dstools:

Thanks for responding as I value those that have the knowledge and opinion's thanks for all your thoughts. Much appreciated and I agree something like this can be abused but perhaps I should have explained with more detail. That is one thing I will definately work on.

Hope everyone has a amazing day/week/month/year

Does anyone have any suggestions as to a faster way to remove items from inventory entirely besides the usual? I value and appreciate all your suggestions and ideas. The purpose for this is strictly for building purposes mostly for SP/Creative.

As I am wanting to build areas that I can upload online for other players to enjoy.

Thanks for reading

A single reason: Cheater doupes items, starts throwing it all all the ground, other players run up and pick it up like pigeons. You ban the cheater, but what about all the people that didn't know what they were picking up?

A "dump all" command while staring into an open storage chest would be an awesome feature.

Heh, considering this thread was from 3 years ago Duchess might not even still be playing this game. :steamhappy:

As for an actual answer for quickly dumping inventory to a chest there is no instant way (like pressing "R" for loot-all) but you can Shift-click to quickly transfer single stacks without drag/dropping them.
