Enemies in 7 Days To Die (List, Guide, Suggestions, And News)
Lots of people don't like the hornets, however, I like the idea! I think it is cool, it adds more than just boring stereotypical zombies, and gives it more of a fallouty feel. I like it! I want to see more enemy variety! However, for those who like different types of apocalyptic adventures, there should be options on what enemies are included or not in each game world. Well, here is the Ultimate guide and suggestion list to enemies in 7 Days To Die!

ADDED:
Hornets
Zombie Dogs
Spider Zombies(Climbing)
Cop Zombies(Acid Puking)
Regular Zombie Variety(Your average zombies with varing strengths
Bloated Walkers(Fat Zombies, Better loot, but tougher)

PLANNED:
Bandits
Hostile Wildlife(Noninfected):
Bears, Wolves, Wild/Stray Dogs, Aliigators, Mountain Lions, etc.
Hostile Wildlife(infected):

4. Flocks of infected crows or other birds that will eat your eyes out!
5. Ants! (Great Diggers and Block breakers; open access points for other enemies)
6.Scorpions! (Bad poison)
7. Plant Creatures (Variety)

Some of these suggestions are funny as hell.
But on a real note, there are a few things that could make this game even better.

1. npc's added ( when you reach a group of houses or a base, have some npc's with guns or melee weapons guarding it. or get rushed by a group or raiders or bandits in your house or base.

2. Some more nature ( thats not infected) should work fine, like grizzly bears or mountain lions, and maybe alligators by some water areas

3. A main boss infected, one that takes a lot to bring him down, and one that can wreck a building if you hide in it. And maybe be able to throw a car at you if ones close by.

Flying zombies(to replace the hornets) in what form?

Let's turn up the atmosphere.

Flocks of ravens that settle on trees at night then fly off loudly if you disturb them alerting the zombies.
Wolves that are seen rarely, watch you from a distance and howl when they begin to hunt you.
Ghouls. Known to eat the dead and grow stronger. Not interested in you as much as the zombies you kill until they've fed enough to over power you.
Zombies that only exists in certain areas similar to the lumberjacks and infected cops but more of them.
Ancient Zombies that are buried deep and can not rise to the surface unless you mine deep enough to enounter one.

I was thinking flying zombies in the same fashion that this guy was turned into a "spider"

I like the idea of zombies buried deep in the earth over my digging zombies. But if we had wolves...wow.. How long before this became "The Grey"? 6 dudes sitting around a campfire getting plucked off one by one by some mofo of a grey wolf. Since wolves hunt by night, TFP could take out running zombies and just have wolves as your main nighttime foe.

Ok, I officially like this thread again :)

Bandits are already planned.

Implement a lunar cycle and add badass werewolf "zombies".
Scalapher The Artificer 2014 年 9 月 23 日 下午 1:19
That would be pretty cool

I think we need more zombie variety first.

Blind zombies
Deaf zombies
Blind and deaf zombies (they just kind of stand around and grab you if you touch them)
Zombies on fire(that can set fire to everything around them)
Digging zombies
Flying zombies(to replace the hornets)
Zombies in protective/riot gear
Radiated zombies(hard to melee without taking radiation damage)
Trap zombies(they look like loot corpses)

Staying along the zombie theme makes more sense to me. If a flying zombie is crazy, then a giant flying hornet is even more crazy. Much more crazy really... :)

Edit: Most LOL worthy: "Blind and deaf zombies (they just kind of stand around and grab you if you touch them)". :D

I wish I could bookmark topics like this, people complaining about the regular zeds and how they're so easy. I think everyone should take a minute and watch the mo-cap session that will be implemented into the game shortly and think how "easy" things will be...

Well worth watching even if you dont care about the game. That guy in that suite knows how to move like a zombie in a satifyingly scary ass way. I cant wait to see how it tranlates into the game.
Scalapher The Artificer 2014 年 9 月 23 日 下午 4:54
Flying hornets make sense, as hornets do fly, they are mean, and chemical warfare could boost their size and aggressivity. However, zombies are mutated humans whether deceased or alive, their original species could NOT fly! Can you fly? NO! So, zombies could not fly. And a hornet-zombie hybrid is a little teeny bit wierder than a hornet. The hornets make sense, how could a ZOMBIE ever fly? You all are joking about FLYING ZOMBIES! Correct?

If they can beat down a concrete-reinforced rebar frame with their bare hands, flying is the least of their challenges.
Scalapher The Artificer 2014 年 9 月 23 日 下午 4:57
Sure, but pherhaps it is just because they have super-mutant strength.

:/
Scalapher The Artificer 2014 年 9 月 23 日 下午 4:58
Plz don't suggest super-mutant flying, this is not some stupid super-hero movie from DC or Marvel.....

some of those are a good idea to add after they finish getting the the main game feeatures done like xp/level and such

Actually I'm no where near as serious as you seem to be. ;P. I have a flying hornet bias is all. Since this is a zombie game, I would prefer to stick to the zombie theme. A flying bug, no matter how huge, has never stopped me from enjoying a great game though.

How about a jumping Zombie instead?

Very well done.
Great motion acting.
The Crawler capture is going to be a lot creepier.

My original post was about "turning up the atmosphere".

The Raven Flock could just be an affect and not a targetable onject.

The Wolf would be rarely seen. Like so rarely that you almost forget about it.
Every couple of week during Mask periods to keep things interesting.
And it doesn't have to be over powered like the zombie dogs just a threat to keep you on your toes and add some more fear to the night.
