Cure for Sprained Leg
I finally found the cure, die close to your bed and you're cured!
Either that or use a splint and limp around for 12 hours... fun times.

They'll probably add a penalty later on for that when they get the exp system going. But i prefer waiting it out i dont like adding deaths to my scoresheet.

Thats my cure for an infection, and being over welmed by zombies, being attacked by dogs, radation sickness, dysnteria, lack of food, lack of water, for walking long distances, kids begging to play......

In my 1 player game if I die I start over. I play permadeath, I wouldn't mind if they added an option to do so in options. I play not the hardest level but the one just before that, I think it's called survivalist then I reduce the zombie damage to medium and my hits to hard; it's very challenging this way but not impossible.

I love everything about this game except for the Sprain/Break system.
(and judging by the number of hours played i have i must like this game a lot!)

I'd rather not be made to feel frail as a Survivor.
I try very hard not to die and don't take the cheap way out up until this feature was added.

I would much rather have an option to choose between Ludicrous Falling Damage or Sprain/Break.

I actually think the fall/sprain thing is great... Its realistic... although, it may be a little too easy to do either in the current world -- Perhaps reducing chances a bit to be more realistic... I know i can jump off a standard hour roof and not break anything...

I really don't want to jump down the Realism Rabbit Hole tonight.

I really don't think having mobility penalties off sets the gritty realism of a video game inhabited by Frozen Jumberjacks and Projectile Vomiting Cops :p

I do like it too, but the penality is too long, its starts to go too far beyond the fun line to get closer to realism line, IMO It should heal instantly or almost with splint, that way if u sprain it just building something u can fix, if u sprain it running from zombies chances are u can't craft a splint while running.

Right now its like 3 game days without splint and 12 game hours with splint.

This seems like another one of those game 'features' that could/should be an option. That way everyone is happy.

Well why would anyone not make a splint, it's about as hard to make as a stone axe. You need two sticks and two pieces of cloth, how hard is that?

Clearly you haven't sprained or broken a leg while running from zombies at night and are trying to craft one will a dog has your nuts and a bee is stinging you in the eyeball, also when out scavaging the last thing you keep room for in your inventory is cloth and some sticks.

Pretty much. Its not for the "i need to get to point B and, oh gee i have a sprained leg, how ever could i speed this up?" moments... it for the "OH Holy mother of all that is good and holy, it stung my eye! What is that zombie vomiting at me, what direction is home?!?! WHY CANT I MOVE!!??! moments...
