An incredible game, genuinely pleased with ALMOST everything.
After the 1.0 release, you can just see the horizon the game is trying to reach. It's incredibly stunning to witness not only the development time, but the commitment to a vision that wasn't always clear for many years at a time.

Game development isn't easy at all, and for how complex these systems are in this game, you can't forget and you can only admire, that this would only be possible on PC. How many could say that in the past 20 years? Since Crysis maybe? Either way, please let's all collectively show the development team some support.

While we're having our breakfast, going to work, then to lunch, then back home again, maybe stop off at the bar, then back home again for dinner and then doing it all again; these guys are hard at working delivering a vision only they could see; even when it wasn't always clear. God bless you, god bless this game, god bless my girlfriend, god bless everyone and god bless god.

Unhappy players. Not unhappy WITH THE GAME. More personal issues being vomited over the forums and acting as if the game is the reason their wives left them. With all due respect, this game is awesome and is not the cause of your eternal suffering. Not you specifically, just the players who are angry for no reason.

Haha, generally I agree with OP's sentiment, though I have to be honest, your post is a little bit over the top and smells like a covert Fun Pimps employee was tasked with increasing game forum morale, lol.

And doing a bad job of it. There's more ham in the OP than a whole field of pigs. It's ludicrously excessive in addition to containing obvious untruths.

i liked the game until i read this post

lol, I'm changing my statement. First I'm going to restate that I generally like the game so I'm not a hater, but OP only has 2.6 hours played in 7D2D, so I think there was a conversation at the Fun Pimps corporate office that went something like this:

"Okay, glad to see such a nice group of fresh faces. As our newest batch of interns we are rolling out a new process where by all interns must start their employment by playing 2.5 hours and then immediately going to the forums and posting their thoughts.

Oh yah, and you have to play the game on our computers.... In this special environmentally controlled room where we periodically release endorphins.... with all you can eat edible brownies.... and a masseuse constantly working the tension out of your muscles.

You there, what's your name?"

"Uh, Directors Cut, sir."

"Perfect. Love it. Best name I've ever heard. You're up first, don't disappoint!"

You should know Steam isn't reliable under many conditions to accurately display time played depending on how you launch a game. Even though a massage and everything else you wrote sounds awesome, It's not true. This game is awesome, and my enthusiastic attitude will not be deminished by depressives.

Mmm, so you're saying you have WAY more hours than Steam is showing? Never known Steam to fail in that direction.

Glad you like it, but their vision was lost long ago, and why they are on a new game. A game which I will never buy, nor any game this company puts out after this. They haven't even finished what they promised, and they have decided that since release, they will simply work on making players lives harder, which truthfully has been going on for at least 2 years now. So enjoy it, and we'll wait for you to have the rose tinted glasses pulled off by one of the zombies.

Have you seen the actual new game they're coming out with? It isn't a major 99 year project. It looks like a very fun, bite sized novel idea I haven't seen since Half Life 2 multiplayer mods back in 2007. They're continuing to develop this game, while working on another.

With all due respect, it seems to me like you're the sibling who can't imagine all the attention being taken away from you once the new kid is born. However, what you fail to understand is that the developers (Your parents, etc) still love you and the original game just the same, they just can't stay in one spot and one project forever.

If you have, then you are employed by TFP or at least very close to them. Which would make your cringeworthy sycophancy understandable. Especially if you're being paid for it.

The "actual new game" from TFP is unknown outside of those circles. The devs, maybe close friends of the devs. Maybe not even the devs, given that there's no real evidence of its existence. Maybe it's just some ideas. Maybe it's as far along as an alpha. Maybe anything in between. Maybe it'll be released to early access in a couple of years. Or maybe never. Or maybe anything in between. Maybe it's something completely new. Maybe it's a sequel to 7DTD. Maybe it's a racing game set in the 7DTD world. There's no information on it outside of TFP and maybe close friends of theirs.

Dude, look at their steam page under "Upcoming Titles" tab... don't freak out.

Dude, you're wrong. No need to freak out. You must be used to being wrong by now.

Blood Moons is being developed by a different dev. Not TFP. An "actual new game" from TFP is unknown outside of TFP and maybe some people close to them. One of the mods from this forum has said they've seen a part of it. They didn't say anything specific about it. Anyone who knows anything about it is keeping very quiet about it.

I appreciate the effort OP, but there's absolutely nothing that can cut through the intense hatred this place attracts. It's a real shame that one of the best games also has the worst community. Good luck
If you're talking that heap os ♥♥♥♥ 4v1 blood moon..I won't buying it, that type of gameplay interrests me less than getting a colonoscapy ..

What vision? the game hasn't known what it wants to be for almost 10 years. I've had the game since alpha 10.2, love it up to alpha 16.4, but a17 and up the game has been doing nothing but going downhill, only think keeping it alive for any older player is the mod scene, as the base vanilla game is so bad these days. I mean steel tools have been around I think since I started playing in a10.2 and they still don't have anything above it, same for the zombies etc. The game needs content. There is a old features overview video from like alpha 8, and half the features in that video still are not in the game today. I'm gonna be real the game has not gone anywhere in over 8+ years gameplay wise. It got prettier yes, but really the game plays no diff today than it used to 8+ years ago.

All I know is I most likely won't be touching anything by tfp again thats for sure. As they clearly have no idea what they are doing, this game should have gone somewhere but now but its been stagnant for almost 9-10 years at this point.

Try out some of the mods like: Darkness Faklls, After Life, Joke Mod, Undead Legacy etc to see what the game COULD have been if the devs were more competant at their jobs and would listen to the community. Instead we have a 10 year old game that still feels like its early alpha at best.

Also before you call me some random hater, I have over 10400 hours in 7 days to die, 9000+ of those hours in modded, if not more. I've been around a while.
