guys, the beta and alpha stages never ended, they just started new numbers lol..

i started alpha 10 and that was the best so far, then 12 and 13 were pretty good.. now they are saying its the release one but they're still developing this great game..

it's only a shame theres no real way to revert to old alphas unless you sail

I have no idea what "sail" is relating to this, but you can just choose alpha 10.4 in the game properties if you want to revert to that version.
By the by, yes I`ve played a tad but what is the earliest Alpha we can play now? Can we still? do A8?

Alpha 8 is the oldest listing from the drop-down, but you can get to Alpha 5 using Steam console commands. There is a thread with instructions around here somewhere.

I don't recall seeing a thread here with specifics but there is this thread on the official forum. https://community.7daystodie.com/topic/11268-guide-how-to-download-almost-every-past-steam-version-of-7-days-to-die-from-steam/

There's topics elsewhere on the web on how to downgrade steam games and it's quite easy. The only difficulty is getting the depot and manifest ids.

Any version of Alpha 6 seems to be gone, but 5, 7 and later can be downloaded.

RedEagle had it in a thread here, but I see he updated the instructions to point to that thread.

Hmm, I would normally disagree but the loading screen does say it's pre-release software. You can see this on game start up loading screen.
There iswas nothing sneaky about it, provided one has eyeballs and *some brain*.
