Back to the topic, the reason why you didn't get kick out is probably due to the trainer that you used, turn that off first.
Like an ungodly amount.
So much that you spend the first 7 days just collecting wood. Nothing else.
Spike traps. :)
From there you have 2 ways to enable god mode.
The easiest is to hit Q, but that also turns on flight, no collisions and instantly recharges stamina. The other is to hit ESC then use the admin panel on the right and check the God Mode box.
Also, you can toggle creative by typing "cm" into the console. That gives you access to the creative inventory by hitting U or by clicking the icon in your inventory. You can then give yourself all the ammo (or any other item) you want, no mods needed. You can also toggle the dev tools inside the creative menu and access items like the Super Digger (an SMG that destroys any block in 1 shot), Hammer of God (destroys any block on hit) or any number of other cheat items.
So, now armed with all that great knowledge: Zombies hate this one simple trick to survive any fight! Type "killall" into the console every time they spawn!

you posted the topic as an expert but you were cheating the whole time.
and become vulture chow
the trainer probably is what is letting you stay at the trader after hours. that or god mode.
and why would you care about saying how to survive hoard night you are playing with god mode on and cheating
Zombies will try to pile up and climb over the walls, and birds still exist. It's still fun though.
That's even worse, that means you didn't even bother to learn the game before starting to cheat.
You can literally find god mode and creative mode in the settings, which only takes a few minutes to look around...
