There are also none.
It could be also a simple small air strip on the ground and few hangars and prop planes. It would be a wilderness POI
Oh and you could potentially get gyro copter parts here and there!
Like Alucard said it could be a small strip if they want to save space, or if you make the larger version of the map it could be a larger airport with a couple jets. If they really wanted to do a story they could have the Airport being one way to escape or something. But they would HAVE to make it hell as it should be filled with zeds to an almost scary horde night point during the day.
And Railway POI's are always accepted in my book!
I've wanted a simple mono rail system players can build for quick base transport for YEARS!!!
Like steam or gas engine motorized carts or something.

Other than the terminal area, the rest is just a huge pile of concrete nothing. There are better uses.
i think it just depends on what's placed there with it, perhaps put tents or stations set up by first responders, or a failed base that was overrun (Add a little lore fun to it especially if they plan a story with the game).
put a couple broken planes, you have the lights along the strip, or even left over luggage in those luggage carts etc.

was hoping i could bring my mono rail idea back up again mostly. Be fun to have quick crazy cart transitions between locations.
I know which would be fun and intresting POI, im just being selfish hoping someone sees my idea...
After thinking about this for a bit, it would be a nice Story-based end-of-game feature...
A big, very difficult, POI in the remotest part of the map that nets you an escape plane.
Maybe even a multi-stage quest, or a breadcrumb trail of location clues in Treasure Maps...
Fly off into the sunset like the Bad Brass Survivor that you've become...

By taking the district approach rather than the "one giant POI" approach TFP could create entire areas like an amusement parks, airports, coastal ports, college campuses or whatever else, each made up of multiple smaller POIs. Since districts can also have their own world spawns it would allow for possibly adding different zombies wandering around outside in those areas as well.
damn had to hit us with reality...
There's little/big airport/plane to add them when generate a random gen, or an airport added with premade map, or an airport added in the map Navezgane...
Another choice, you want some prefab of The Walking Dead or Resident Evil ?

Note that when add news POI, need to gen a new map, that will not auto-update an existant map/savegame... But if you want to keep your current savegame, you need gen the same map with same option & name seed & then need to delete all region in the savegame except where is your base...
