You missed out the part where two of the three devs on stream didn't want to commit to a date.

The third Dev said providing there's no show stopping bugs, could be early may to mid may.

It was very speculative. It was not confirmed.

May is a target date but not a promise. It’s as simple as that. Expect it to slip and then be pleasantly surprised if it doesn’t. June is just as likely but either May or June are pretty certain. They will always give themselves the caveat of something show stopping causing a delay.

Raise your hand if you remember the dev stream when Mad Mole suggested late October as the date they were hoping for with A20, and Fataal rolled his eyes and added "IF everything goes well," and then there was much forum outrage and screaming about broken promises when it got pushed out 5 or 6 weeks.
