When were traders implemented?

I`ve been messing around going as far back as A8, 9, 10 and this night, 11 some what. And I didn`t see any Traders. It`s been a long time, a long journey for me. Going back that far memory doesn`t recall if traders were there from the beginning. The game mechanics, graphics, models, everything is really basic, and I simply don`t remember traders as I`m picking my way through the alphas, playing pieces of games here and there. Even at A 11 was so barbaric, but was the cat`s meow way back then. SDtill don`t recall when traders came into the game. Doesn`t make sense now, to collect a lot of stuff and not be able to sell or trade:-) The old fashioned crasfting is a hoot. Anyone?

@ShadedMJ, I thank ye kindlee for that. One part of 7DTD that has kept me along for all these years is the good side of the forums. The free offering of helpfulness from the greater portion of it`s populous such as you sir. It` tkes little to offer a bt of help with no expectations of reward. I think A15 is right. I remember coming from A14 to 15 and totally ignoring traders, since back then they hadn't much of a purpose.

@ Roland. I`m not sure how to take that Roland. Maybe I should ask Sculley or Mulder? I don`t have a lot of friends/contacts, actually, being a re-cluded Vet, but they can get me access to those files if the money`s right methinks, and then, well, "We`ll just see then, won`t we"?

Traders are a newer thing. Just like perk system. Even mocap or whatever is a newer thing. So are cars.

I started 7 days when random gen didn't even exist. Game used to just be you vs a qorld of zombies and no one else but corpses, bees, farm animals, deer, etc.

I do miss things like zombies hunting and beating up on animals.
