Fast way to move loot into containers possible?

Hi,

I know if I shift click an item that's in a storage container it will quickly put that item into my personal inventory first and then my toolbelt.

Is there also a way to quickly put items from my inventory and toolbelt back into storage containers? I've already tried shift+click thinking it would work both ways but that doesn't seem to work.

I've got a crap load of stuff to move from one of my homes to my new home (which is fortunately not far away) but having to drag and drop one item stack at a time from my inventory to the storage container in the new house is quickly becoming one of the worst gaming chores I've experienced in quite a while.

it would be nice to have a quick move option that you could hold a button to most items from your backpack to the storage container ( or zombie)...

would also be nice for a quick drop option ( one that would dump the item you hold and click )

Sure there was. If he'd made a new thread it still would have been a spot taken up under active topics. Nothing wrong with bumping this thread since it was on topic.

For anyone wondering, shift click DOES work both ways.

ohboi. we need 1 click solutions for our storage. something like dropdown menus with checkboxes so we can assign certain loot/items to specific boxes. will save a ton of needles clicking, and actually make it possible to keep the boxes clean in multiplayer
