Players not showing on minimap

I'm hosting a private Survival game version 7.11.

1) In server options, show players is toggled on. I show up on the other players minimap but he does not show up on mine. Anyone else encountered this or have a fix for it?

2) Any suggestions at all on finding ore? I've dug to China and back near Spillway Lake and haven't found the first piece of gravel much less ore.

Someone else correct me if I'm wrong, but I think only people on your 7DTD in-game Friend list now show up as icons on the map.

Good thought but the other player is on both my Steam and 7DTD in game friend's list.

yes, i have view this problem too in testing the multiplayer, the people they are the host don't view the other, but the other can view all the people like you say...

the only way we have found for now to correct this, it's to go in your inventory menu, go in the friend windows and send her a friend request..., but you need to make this is each time you reload a game...

for an unknow reason it's seem affected only the people they are the host, like if the command have been inversed, because usually it's the host they are able to view all the people without sending her a friend request by the game...

Daniel is absolutely correct. The Host of the game seems to have to re-invite the other players while they can see the Host. This happens no matter if the other players are on the Host's friend list.
