Key Binds?

Before anything I want to say thank you to the Devs for fixng the framerate problem.
You guys have shown your true colors, and shown all of us that you do care about your
costumers.


Any chance that we will be getting key binds for the tool belt in the future?

It will make the game that much better allowing me to go throw my tool belt with out having to scroll. Scrolling its ok when not in a fast action moment, but when facing off vs a horde and your on the move, it is vital to not make a mistake on what item you are going to switch too.

I have a (Steelseries Merc Stealth) gaming keyboard and the (WoW Cataclysm MMO mouse.


I know that there is many that find using numbers or scrolling ok, but there is many like my self that love the ability to just key bind the keyborad keys and mouse keys to the tool belt making our survival that much more fun.

I gave (Mine Craft) a try so I can play with my son and daughter, did not enjoy it till the Dev of Mine Craft updated the game and allowed players to key bind the tool belt.

Tried Guild Wars2, and was able to enjoy to the fullest again because of the ability to key bind my action bar.

I realy hope that some time in the future we will also be able to have the ability to key bind
our tool belt.It would be awesome.

Thx again Dev for all the effort you guys are putting into 7D, it is an amazing game.

You could always just create a mouse profile for 7DTD that has the mouse buttons programmed for the 1-9 (or up/down wheel) stuff, to allow you to change toolbar selection. All those mice are programmable like that.

I did not think of this,,will try it out with the macros. But honestly it will be easier if the game supports the key binding.. Thx for the tip

Sure thing - I have a similar mouse, and will end up doing that myself when the game gets more robust.

Just made the macro's and jumped into 7D, wow...works perfectly. Now I will enjoy my gameplay a ton. Thx again.
