actually who laid out the behavioural traits and laws of how a zombie should act? ;p
Well in some zombie universes zombies only eat brains, some eat any part of a human, some eat any part of a human but stop once the person is dead and in some universes the zombies stop once the dead person/meal turns into a zombie too.
There aren't really any set rules for how zombies should act but it's nice to think about. :') I'm not implying that zombies shouldn't like raw meat though.
But zombies in 7dtd seem to attack those deer a lot so I assume they like their live/raw meat.
Well, right now I have warm "nontainted"/nonzombified meat in me... well the in-game character does... but the zombies in the game are attracted to cold, old/or fresh meat that isn't in a living object anymore.
I haven't seen many zombies attracted to a dead rabbit that has been sitting around for days in a zombie universe before. :P Of course it is fine if this game wants the zombies to act like that though, no complaints.
I don't see the problem the animal meat you are carrying is still *fresh* and *untainted*, if you had just hunted a infected rotting zombie rabbit and stripped it of its meat and stuck it in your back pack i could see the inconsistency.
As for meat smelling I like hunting while being mindful of being hunted kind of makes it a bit more harder less of a walk in the park. If it becomes a issue i just stash it in trash etc then leave a block next it as a marker and come back to hit later.
I like that the developers are trying to get us to mix it up when eating food instead of just runing around eating just deer stew 24/7 with no consequencs, i would like to see later on some kind of negative effect if you just eat the same old foods day after day.
DRATS! You caught me!
Hahah but no, just something to talk/think about.
