How do I repair a weapon?

(I know of the weapon repair kit, would only nice to be able to use all the guns I got)

For actual guns, pistol and everything else : Put ONE item in there with X weapon repair kits. WRKs repair 40 points of durability for each one you put in there, calculate how much you need. Do it up to 237\250 instead of wasting 1 kit for 13 points.

For other stuff, sometimes you gotta get metal pipes or wahtever and break them down to METAL STRIPS. Each of those heals 10 to melee weapons like fireaxe, pickaxe, etc..
