Having a problem snapping blocks into place
I recently came back to the game from version 11 to try out version 12 and I'm having some difficulty with a couple of things that worked fine when I left.

1) Construction blocks of all types do not smoothly snap to the faces of others, like repairing a hole in a building sometimes takes a lot of moving around to find the sweet spot for it to drop in, plus, the superimposed outline of the blocks in my hands seem to be grossly oversized which blocks my sight picture for proper placement.

2) After chopping off the lower rung of a ladder I have to make several attempts to get up the damn thing, which is not good when you have company on your tail.

What the hell gives here, is this a Unity thing with moddeled objects not yet tweaked enough, or do I somewhere have a graphics setting out of whack? Fwiw, I haven't touched the FOV settings and I'm using the Unity AA setting thats about it, or is this something everybody else is experiencing as well?

Lag has been my enemy for placing blocks.

The game has always been like this for me, exactly as you describe. I've played since late in the A10.

Never had any block building problems, that is strange.

A little ladder tip though.. I find they work much easier if you look up as much as possible while climbing them, or mounting them. If you mean you have to jump a few times to actually mount the ladder.. I have had that occasionally. Usually when I have a sprained leg. But I do find if you look up when jumping, and look up as much as possible while climbing off the top of ladders, they work much better.
