Sunrise at 0400?

So, I'm in my world I started in A12.3 with time set to 18 hours and 120 minutes real time. Sunset happened at 2200 hours as the patch notes for A12.4 stated, but I got the sunrise sound or whatever at 0400, so I went out of my base to see if the Zomnies were running or not. They weren't, so Is this a thing now or is the time for sunrise messed up due to the version change to A12.4? Has anyone else seen this?

This is the new normal, with 18 hours of daylight. Can't speak for other times, though.

If you ever lived in AZ you would know the sun tends to come up around 4am majority of the year, so I would say this is more true to realism than it was before.

It was messed up before due to the sun going down so late (12am), and now it goes down at 10pm. Much needed change and it really adds to the immersion.

Yup, with 18 hours daylight, nightfall is at 10pm (zombies start running) and 4am is sunrise.
6am if you use 16 daylight hours.

I already posted the new Day Length time in the forums & the new default is 16 not 18 & the times are as follows; 12, 14, 16, 18 & sunset at 22;00 the Day/Night Length is the same 50. I set mine to 100 to make the day longer & 16 to have a 6 AM sunrise.

I do live in AZ for 24 years now and no, the sun does not come up at 0400 even in the summertime when it comes up the earliest. Besides, I am playing the random generated map, not Navezgane.

They changed it to 10 to 4 so the hordes show up on the 7th night as opposed to the 6th, which was wrong.

No they changed it to 10 PM for horde to spawn correctly & the time is how you set it.

The new settings are 12, 14, 16, 18 & default is now 16 with a 6 AM sunrise & depending on your client your settings are 12, 14, 16, 18, or 12 -18 like I said depending on client.

If you set it to 18 then you get a 4 AM SR but 16 is the new default.

From what I read they had to set 10 pm to get the horde to spawn right & the old settings 12, 15, 18 have benn changed. Your welcome, I change 50 to100 & use 16 & the day VS. night is just right with a 6 AM SR.

I do it in my server config, it is the Day Night Length setting it used to be 40 & now it is 50 default & I change it to 100, with a Day length of 16

Sort of. During the summer, sunrise is at 0530ish on the west side and 0515ish on the east - though it will start getting light around 45 minutes earlier.

And it doesn't set until 1930 - again, with up to another hour of light after sunset before full dark.

So, if you guys want to get the 'real' AZ experience, set your day length to 15 hours.
