Note to the developers - Get rid of explosive crossbow bolts

For the love of all that is good and proper please get rid of them. I have spent the last hour shooting everything in sight and have had way to much soda fly out of my nose. It cant take anymore pain so please get rid of them. My nose will thank you. My computer screen is now covered in soda and I almost cant see the screen to write this so if you would please get rid of them I would greatly appreciate it.

For the rest of you I am going to shoot a youtube video of it later. OMG it is the funniest thing in the world. I have a favorite new weapon. It costs so much to use though.

you need to make a bunch of exploding bolts and take it to the hub city. THAT would be awesome! :D

Day 74? Are you in A12.x? If so, you should see coal all over the world (in random, anyway) There are many surface deposits, everywhere on the last three worlds I investigated / played. (they look like small hills of mineral deposits - usually 6-8 pieces of coal per hill.)

Tried out the exploding bolts, myself, last night. Blew myself up. Twice. Shooting charging bears. So the skill book recipe for them stays in. After all we need another way to commit suicide besides eating glass : )

Don't let it ruin the game for you.

If TFP reduces the damage on that ammo type you can always mod it back up.

And when else has TFP demonstrated that they're anti-fun?

I've found a fair amount of surface coal deposits.

I'm sure i'll eventually find another cave or two with enough coal to ensure my plans for world zombie conquest.

I still say the explosive bolts are a definite game changer. Very expensive and hard to get though so they might stay rare.

:) I laughed all night. Wasted about 100 bolts just blowing things up. Only reason I stopped is I ran out of gunpowder and was to tired to get some more. Steel arrows are very expensive to make and the bolts are even more so.

i'm not much of a soda drinker. that said, blowing coffee out my nose isn't exactly fun for me either. it might help if i started snorting coffee, instead of TRYING to drink it. it just ends up my nose anyway. ROFL!

You would think the noise from the explossions would vreate a higher noise range and attract more zombies, no? It was good to see them, I havenot been able to make yet. They do look like fun. Can you blow up rocks and such with them? Or holes in walls with 1 shot for fast escape?

I was able to destroy a surface rock once. I wasnt able to repeat it, was funny as heck. As to blowing holes in wall with one shot, depends on the wall because I did put cracks in concrete with one hit. Probably 4 or 5 would destroy concrete. You can put holes in the ground which was pretty cool. One square of destruction.

That's why it's funny. It's unlikely Mikey was "Noseoda Blowing" repeatedly but it's funny to think about it that way. Stop being a Vulcan!
