What is the best flooring material for spanning long gaps, wood? trestle? concrete?
i put trussing at the top, this can support floor space of 8x8(not tried bigger)

You could fill in the whole floor under you but the main support walls are what is most neccessary. Bonus is they can't undermine you so easily.
