How to upgrade armor?
ok in one of my games in 7 Days to Die, i made iron armor, but its faulty iron armor. how do you upgrade faulty armor into better versions

You cant. Quality is constant. The only way to make it better is to craft new one and hope for better version.
Additionally quality of items you craft depend on your current character level. You can craft stuff with quality range of Your_Level * 10 +/- 50 chosen at random.

level up and remake the armor and hope you getter better armor. About every 10 levels is the threshold. There is no upgrading the armor.

To be more precise,
accept if they had change the formula,
the quality of your item you craft will be:
(you level x 10) + between -50 and 50

So at level 6 you can do between
quality 10 and 110
