flaming Arrows
I made steel arrows and got the book , i wanted to make flaming arrows it says you need steel arrows, talow and cloth but even when i had the incrediants it still would not let me make them
is this a known bug ?

You also need gun powder.

How did you get steel arrow tip mold?
I only find complete steel arrows and can´t break them down.

The riddle of steel book unlocked the mold for me, wether you can make them just from that i don't know.

My mind is hazy since i was drinking when i made my flaming arrows but. Pretty sure for the steel ones you have to first be able to make the mold and find an steel arrowhead just like the iron ones.

I believe i found it on a corpse either that or you just need the mold. Its one or the other >.<

make the mould with clay bottom left corner you need to find 1 iron or 1 steel arrow head first then make a mould with clay arrow head and clay nake voth moulds 5 clay makes steel ingot mould then you make steel just put iron ingots in the forge to make steel ingots

Also thank you Sugar did not see the gunpowder in the menu should have a lighter back drop on crfafting

Managed to make the flamming Arrows but my bow does not equip them, only works on basic arrows. Would i be right thinking your skill level has to be higher ? I am level 20 can anyone confirmn this, Thanks ?

Right click on the bow and you have an option to change ammo types.

Right click on the bow and you have an option to change ammo types.

Hi Guys,
I am sure that i read on the release notes that you have to use, well not have to but you can also press the
ALT + R Key and it will switch types of ammo for the bow.

The recipe calls for a steel arrow, cloth and tallow. No gunpowder. I have the ingredients but still can't make flaming arrows.

Alt + R was added in 12.1 and then removed in 12.2, if memory serves. It's no longer a functional shortcut.

But it DOES require gunpowder, 2 of it, to the left and below the cloth at the 'tip'. I literally just checked.

its quite difficult to see the gunpowder sometimes, get the recipe up and hover your cursor over the areas ragequit said and gunpowder will pop up
