No lakes and no rivers?
Did anyone find a lake or river in random gen?
I started several seeds, flew around in creative, but there were no lakes or rivers, just small ponds.

I´m just curious.. ^^

I've found a few lakes around the place but, like most things in this game, you gotta go find them. I've found a few lakes around desert areas ironically.

Make a bucket then get some dirty water from a puddle then make a hole in the ground as big as you want and pour the water from the bucket into it and you will have an endless supply of water in your house or garden.

don't think they're re-adding huge lakes. madmole said water bases are a thing of the past. and rivers aren't in the new random gen but he's mentioned them being re-added at some point but after this post I'm not quite sure. too bad though, i like water, quite a bit actually.

"I'm not sure we will get to water in A13, now that we are going to be doing shorter builds. But the plan is to explore micro voxels. Water falls might just be a particle effect and then the water continues on the next lowest elevation. We are against players getting water blocks. We've talked about using the pipes to have to dig a trench and run pipes from a water source to fill a pond or whatever and do man made water sources. Water bases will be a thing of the past, unless of course they have legs that go to the ground under water. " -madmole

that said, the current water sources are POI's. They usually have gravel paths leading to them from the main roads from what I've seen, unless you're far from main roads. They're quite common but they're small so could be easy to miss. The desert has the largest 'lakes' atm. more like small ponds but w/e.

And? As with every game of 7DTD I play, as soon as I'm able to craft a bucket, I build my own water supply inside my base....
