The odd ranger station, I've seen in real life. I think a bowling alley in the game, I've seen in real life. And maybe the layout of one of the diners was from one of the diners I visited in South Dakota. Otherwise, not sure.
There are also other buildings that mimic actual buildings in the games real-world location.
Yes. It's where the game is based. Navezgane County, Arizona is the main location in 7 Days to Die. Ironically, the Apache word “Navezgane” means Killer of Monsters.
There are actually three or four like that. A couple of video game adaptations as well.
Yes it's fictional, or yes it's real? There is no Navezgane County, or any Navezgane place name. At most I would say it's inspired by a general location in Arizona. You can find the forest, desert, snow and sadly burned forest biomes in fairly close proximity so they did a good job on that.
As seven mentioned, traveling around AZ, and on given times around those areas, you can indeed find different biomes as fires rage and sweep out of control as they are wont to do with dry tinder, til they stop upon reaching the green barriers, which turn to snow at steeper elevations, and then desert heat, cacti, and sand just a stone throw away, if you run out of gas and coasrt backwards down the steep roads lol. All but the wasteland. I saw snow here in Phoenix once in 33 years, (maybe twice?). The once, a flake or two landed in my palm.
Navesgane, where all the Veteran 7DTD players were born. I mean the old Veterans. * Not the ones who have played 80 hours and cry because it ain`t released yet:-) JK
