Is 7DTD dead?
That`ll be the day lol. Just watched a vid from Mr. Reach with this title. Interesting. TBH, I have watched more than one of his videos. I don`t watch many, since 2013 after learning how to play on my own. The comments are surely a better testament vastly more informative than than the same pontificate-rs in these forums lol. Myself included now so don`t get em in a bunch now. He makes a lot of good points.

Indeed, and even if we're at the end of A20. The stats will rise with A21.

Yeah, most of those videos are, similar to this post.

If you just look at the statistics behind players, you'll see an increase in players throughout the years. New release of alphas also increase the amount of new players, as well as bring back old players who want to try the alpha.

Mostly to games that are done developping.

The amount of posts i read on forum about "dead game" or "developers abandonned their game" when the game is just done and the devs have moved to other projects.

I don`t know how I came across this subject searching today that led to Mr. Reach`s video. The amount of videos about 7DTD on the internet is, to me, mind boggling. There aren`t that many videos made about how to massage yur possum. There is one but, just sayin. All I can say to tha Pimps about A 21 is, bring it fellas. I`ll sort it out for ya.

IIRC it's been in the top 50 for most the past five or six years straight.

Actively developed too, with regular communication from staff of changes coming to the next build.

Can't get anymore undead than that.

I must clarify I rekon. Being as I have invested 9 years and over 10,000 hours in this game, and still actively playing nearly every day, I couldn`t possibly consider it dead by any stretch of the imagination. By that logic my post couldn`t possibly be click bait, albeit presented through my rough shod old style vernacular, it could easily be misunderstood as such maybe, by today`s younger fast paced speed readers/players I guess. My intention was not that I assure you.

I can`t even understand the incessant complaining about the length of time in EA. What would they do with the finished game? Run through it like ♥♥♥♥ through a goose and toss it in the played games bin? Right? No mention of all the years of free game play, because that has to be the newbies, the "cherries". Must be harsh to come in brand new to an old famous game that has been doing so well for almost a decade, and feel humbled and well, cheated <bag>. Especially if you suck lol. No offense. just sayin
