My bow wont load iron tipped arrows.

I have a bow that I have used with stone tipped arrowheads up until now. Now, I have found some iron arrowheads/tips. I have fashioned 60 iron tipped arrows, and they wont load onto the bow. Pressing R(for reload) doesn't work. Do I need to fashion a new bow or use a crossbow for these arrows? Any help?

Alt-R or right click on arrows. Read patch notes.

I have the same issue with steel arrows. The only thing I can think of is you may need a higher grade of bow to fire the better grade of arrow.

you can right click on bow- scroll down... load type of arrow,

right click on the bow and select what tipe of arrow you would like,hope that help's.

right-click on bow or as said alt+R = different arrow loaded :)

Sometimes the game won't recognize Iron Tipped Arrows as a valid ammo type for the bow without another type of arrow in the inventory, as per Joel.

Alt-R didn't work for me so try the menu thing.

Ah, thanks guys, I greatly appreciate the help. Going into inv, and right clicking on the bow popped up a menu tha allowed me to change the arrow type. I appreciate the help guys. Silly me, thinking it would automatically change because I no longer had the stone tipped arrows.
