How do you use iron/steel arrows?
Wood bow will not load them, just the stone arrows.

I heard that you can either right-click the bow and choose the ammo or press the Alt R keys while your bow is active.

Press and hold R while the bow is active.
A dial will appear that lets you choose your ammo.

Wow, bringing a dead subject back to life. ;-) This discussion took place in July, it's now December so it's like 5 months dead. A zombie subject!

That is now the way to do it but it used to be different.

I'll forgive it definitely, because the OP and the person helping was vague and didn't seem to help, but Otherguy11's advice was spot on! I couldn't find the info anywhere else.

I was the original guy helping out on this. The reason I was vague is because I couldn't play the Alpha 12 releases and had to revert back to the Alpha 11.6 release because of crashing issues that didn't clear up until the final Alpha 12.5 (I think) release. But I had heard of others remarking on it in other threads so that is what I answered in this thread but put in the qualifier "I heard" because I couldn't confirm it. The original poster did come back in and confirm that it did work so that was basically the end of it. (Sidenote - I'm not being a prick, just like to clarify stuff.)
