Bears are OP

Run faster than you - check
Are everywhere - check
Stun you in one hit - check
Kill you with the rest - check

When you've literally just started a new game and all you can to is try and punch it, not really fair.

Disagree. I've managed to outrun every bear I've come across. Haven't been killed by one yet. They are actually quite slow, and they give up chase after a few seconds.

The only reason you should get caught/killed by a bear is if you have used all your stamina and walk right into one...

Crouch is OP, works for me all the time, unless bears see me first. :)

I played new game on nomad,bear entered the random house in town where I was looting downstairs(I DUNNO HOW HE SENSED ME) ,killed be after 2 hits

simple tip crouch down move slowley acully recon the area you loot treat how you think it should be treated in real life (dont run into a town and go to town wiht a shotgun sneak around kill em with a club) i played the game on insane a few tips is what kept me alive recon the place from afar answer these questions

1 are there any baers dogs or special infected
2 are here any safe high ground positions
3 how many infected
4 any alternitives (stealth, ranged attack, minibike drive by)

after recon is finished select attack method if it is a derserted house on its own mellee no stealth if a group of building and dogs attack from range then move in and breah and cler with melle if it is a lot of infected alot more then you can stealth wit hor take out with bow/crosbow before they are on you go to town with your guns

when traveling do it fast and soundless

remmebr becoming a sniper nomadic is a good idea and remember history has toaghut us thos who master the bow generly become conquerers (Atillia the hun Ghengas Khan both horseback archers) so remmebr to master yours

it seems to me, bears and zombies can't share the same area
-they are both carnivores
-zombies attack everything that lives
-bears attack everything in their territory

btw, irl, bears can be held captive in iron cages...
-lure them in iron captivity, with an open roof and you have a zombietrap/defence
