Report a translation problem
So it seems like quite a few of you are experiencing this issue.
Still no workarounds have been discovered yet it seems.
I'm more or less convinced that it might be something to do with random access memory issues (RAM) not storing the chunks properly.
It's really strange because I had this issue in A11.. And only a couple increment patches later it fixed itself for me.... Now a lot of other individuals are getting the display bug.
The main problem is, is that it's not only a display bug. My friends are reporting that you can fall through the invisible chunks, as if there is no solid object at all for them :S. It makes the game basically unplayable in some areas.
Hopefully Red Eagle or a dev can que in and let us know what this could be related to, as i'm really stumped on this one.
I feel really bad for you guys having to deal with this error. :(
HitPointG has 7 Days to Die May 29 @ 4:40pm
I just had a friend join my server whom had the chunk not rendering problem. I instructed him in re-installing the game and deleting his My Documents/7 Days To Die folder and it completely fixed the problem for him.
Give it a try and report back here if it works for you too.
If this works than it would likely be connected to a graphic setting corrupting for some hardware configurations.
I appreciate your position, but I don't think this post is out of line. i searched like crazy in the bugs section and I can't find much information. Where I think the OP erred was that he didn't provide enough information, no one seems to do so. As for RAM... I have 32 Gigs of it, I use this computer for rendering in blender, so there's absolutely no way that it's a RAM problem, at least not an amount related RAM problem, could be something else related to RAM, though, but it must be on the game's side of things.
This is a coding issue. I'm sure they will correct it sooner or later.
