This has been an ongoig topic & has been reported many times, try doing a search on problems before posting. It is a perfomance problem & has to do with ram so try lowering your settings & do a search on the forums for other vuiewpoints. If you look in bugs & reports you can find a lot of the problems players have hsd, your welcome.

Nothing to do with ram- many with lots of ram have issues with it. Deleting player .map file and guests joining the server not use the map 'm' key. Yes, there are other threads sorry you got lectured and given wrong info.

Wasn't lecturing just helping with finding the problems players have, the Mod & Bugs section along with the website forum are a treasure trove of game problems & a quick search would find most problems. I have seen posts where this problem is mostly lower end rigs & ram but also do to the games optimization.

So it seems like quite a few of you are experiencing this issue.

Still no workarounds have been discovered yet it seems.

I'm more or less convinced that it might be something to do with random access memory issues (RAM) not storing the chunks properly.

It's really strange because I had this issue in A11.. And only a couple increment patches later it fixed itself for me.... Now a lot of other individuals are getting the display bug.

The main problem is, is that it's not only a display bug. My friends are reporting that you can fall through the invisible chunks, as if there is no solid object at all for them :S. It makes the game basically unplayable in some areas.

Hopefully Red Eagle or a dev can que in and let us know what this could be related to, as i'm really stumped on this one.

I feel really bad for you guys having to deal with this error. :(

Just took a few min. to find other players simular problems by searching the forum discussions.

I just had a friend join my server whom had the chunk not rendering problem. I instructed him in re-installing the game and deleting his My Documents/7 Days To Die folder and it completely fixed the problem for him.

Give it a try and report back here if it works for you too.

If this works than it would likely be connected to a graphic setting corrupting for some hardware configurations.

Unfortunatly there is no way to actually fix it besides re-logging everytime you get the error, the "Fun Pimps" claimed to fix this bug but they didn't -_-

I appreciate your position, but I don't think this post is out of line. i searched like crazy in the bugs section and I can't find much information. Where I think the OP erred was that he didn't provide enough information, no one seems to do so. As for RAM... I have 32 Gigs of it, I use this computer for rendering in blender, so there's absolutely no way that it's a RAM problem, at least not an amount related RAM problem, could be something else related to RAM, though, but it must be on the game's side of things.

I also am not lacking in RAM and see this from time to time. People tend to take a false "solution" and run with it. Then the next person that reads it runs with it as well.

This is a coding issue. I'm sure they will correct it sooner or later.

It's minecraft all over! Chunk errors, relogging wont help because it will be server side. Server would need a restart not the client.
