lol. Yes.
They can break them. But the have to do it from one block 'under' the hatch since they don't seem to attack grround level blocks. Also, the fat cop zombies with their acid vomit can dissolve them.
The reason it has happened is because I put the wood log spikes in a trench one-block down to help reduce gore block height build-up.
You can sometimes notice that when a zombie attacks, let's say a 3 high wall, it will destroy first the middle block of the wall and sometimes it will keep attacking that middle space and not the other two blocks int hat column to allow them to move past it. Their AI that gets them caught in a loop on occasion and only the dogs and crawlers usually will target that bottom block to give them access. It's something that needs improvement but I don't see it happen all of the time that it becomes a major distraction as the zombies can still get into most bases if given time.
