crafting handlebars

I know, I've been asking a lot of questions recently. I searched to forum and didn't see this so either I missing something or misunderstanding the process.

I can't seem to make the minibike handle bars. Someone kindly cleared up for me that you craft regular handle bars first - done. I have all the proper mats in my inventory, but the game just won't let me craft the minibike handlebars. I have the schematic, the parts I need show up greyed out like they always do if you are missing a component, but I'm not missing one. Is this s known bug? Does anyone know of a work around? I'd love to be able to explore further out and I have all the mats I need :(

It may be a bug I'm not sure, just make a note of what goes where and then stick everything in said slots, hit craft and bingo. I had this problem way back when I made my Hardly, hehe.

i had this happen to me a while back. i was able to fix the problem by manually placing all the components where they need to go.

I had to manually craft the bars too. Try and place the pieces on the crafting table on your own, and it should work.

Yeah, the recipe or something about it is bugged. You need to manually place the items.

Thanks guys! Now i need the minibike option to show up lol. i know ive found the schematic 3 or 4 times. Sigh

What do you mean by 'minibike option'? If you're referring to making the bike itself, that's done by placing the chassis on the ground (as you place blocks), and then adding the parts to it through it's menu.
